Hi everyone! I don't have a whole lot to say about this week. It was a typical week in the Philippines... Riding Jeepneys and trikes, avoiding traffic, hiking mountains, high-fiving little kids, getting called 'Elsa', teaching lessons, trying to speak tagalog, making friends with the kids, holding cats and hoping they don't have fleas, sweating because of the heat, washing my clothes by hand... Ya know, the usual. ;)
It's definitely a different world here in the philippines, but its SO GREAT. These people are SO KIND HEARTED and beautiful. :) They are so funny and it's great because you can tell them the same joke over and over again and they will never stop laughing. They're so fun and I love them!
We had one investigator at church, and we were SO HAPPY. :') It's been a while. We are really praying for her. She is 14, and her name is Rosa. She loves the BOM, and after Young Womens, the teacher came up to us and said 'WOW! She explained the entire First Vision to the whole class perfectly.' She is AWESOME. We are super praying for her.
This week is conference week for us, and I am beyond excited! My second Conference in the mission, the first in the actual mission field. :') Conference is the BEST time of the year, huh?
