Week 25 - March 20, 2017

Hi everyone!
I don't have a whole ton of time to email today, but I just want to say thank to all of you for being so sweet to me, and for sending me fun emails. I get SO excited when I get emails from you guys.
The Philippines is great. The people are so kind hearted and God-fearing, and it is AMAZING to find people who are grateful to truth. :) I'm so happy to be apart of the Work of the Lord, really. I don't imagine doing anything else at this time in my life. It's already flying by- I'm on my 6th month and fifth transfer, and it's just gonna go faster and faster from here. :)
I know the church is true, and I am so grateful for that truth in my life. I would definitely not be who I am now without the Gospel. Isn't that the cheesiest thing ever?

I want to tell a really quick story: there was a man who lived in a place that started flooding, so he climbed on his roof and with all his faith, he prayed to God to save him from the floods. So the floods continued coming, and a boat came by, but he didnt accept the help cause hes waiting for God's help, right? Next a helicopter comes and lets down a rope, but he doesnt accept because he is waiting for God's help. So he keeps praying and then he dies.
THIS IS SO RELEVANT TO ALL OF US. We taught a lesson the other day, and the lady told us that she doesnt have time to read because she is waiting for God to make her strong. She keeps praying for strength, but doesnt realize that God is answering her prayers by giving her the BOM and by giving her WAYS to strengthen herself.
GUYS! God has given us answers through the Book of Mormon. All the answers are there. Pray, and then let God answer you through the scriptures. They will tell you everything you need to know: 2 Nephi 32:3.
I know that's true!! Really. We are all asking God to help us, which is fine. But we need to work for His help, too. We can't wait for Him to save us from the flood if we aren't doing our part and accepting his hand.

I love you all! Be happy, be safe, read the BOM. :) I promise you STRENGTH. Love you all! Mahal kita.
