Week 24 - March 13, 2017

Hi everyone! I forget what happened last week. We did start the week with a district/zone activity. WE went to find this cave that

everyone had talked about, but since we couldn't find it, we went somewhere else to hike and we could see over the Philippines and it was SO PRETTY. We could see all the colorful houses and the trees. Gorgeous.

What a view- Hiking on Monday.

On Tuesday we had our zone training- the last with some of the going home missionaries. :') Bitter-sweet, di ba? We have such a FUN Zone. I love them tons.

Wednesday, we invited one of our super potentials to be baptized, and she was so dang excited. We have super high hopes for her.

On Thursday, we met this super old lady who was super swet, but when we started teaching her, she started speaking tagalog way too fast for my ears to understand, and so in the middle of the lesson, my comp turned to me and said, "This lady has some serious beef with the Jahovas." SO funny. We left then, and then later in the night, we contacted an OYM. And it turns out that the husband had been praying and praying for a sign of the truth, and said that we were that answer. And throughout the lesson, he would ask the most AMAZING questions- the Qs every missionary wants to hear: "How can I find out for myself?" "Where did the BOM come from?" "When can I be baptized?" ya know, only the greatest questions. :') :') I wanted to cry, he was SO READY, and he asked for a BOM, and for a chance to be baptized- and that was just us meeting him for the first time. He had studied the Mormon church before, but he didnt feel lost at that time, is what he said. Hes SO READY. We are going back to teach him tonight- pray for us. :')

Friday was weekly planning, and that is always so much fun. ;)

Saturday I just heard lots of worldy music... Lol, mostly Twenty One Pilots. Talk about Temptations. Hahahah.

Sunday- Stake Conference.

And Monday again- Volleyball. Missionary work this week was less exciting than last week, but it was really good. :) Life is good, and that's something that I've noticed a lot this week. Miracles EVERYWHERE, and in a life full of things that scream negativity, there is SO much to smile about. :) Life is GOOD. Life is hard, don't get me wrong. No matter how good of a person you are, life is always going to be hard, but it's so good. Find reasons to smile, and look for your miracles. :)
I love you all.
