HI EVERYONE! Another week!
On Monday, we had a regular P-day.. BUT I finally got to go RUNNING. For the first time in what- almost 10 months, my feet got to run on a real running track. We went to the Marikina Sports Center, and it was glorious. You can ask my comp, I just about kissed the track- I was so happy. And I am so proud to tell you all that I still got it. ;) So you could say it was a wonderful pday. I got to run, email some wonderful people, and had a mall worker guy watch me pick out a coloring book for about 10 minutes... Like it's odd or something to see an American in the Philippines picking out a coloring book.
Tuesday we taught the kiddos being baptized- Gabby and Glydell. Gab is 9, and Glyd is 8. They are cousins and their parents are LA. They are super cute kiddos, and so makulit. Ha ha ha! They're crazy. ;)
GABBY1 Our other future RC is the girl. Cute, no And her smily little brother. )
Wednesday, we taught Jizan, our 20 year old investigator. He is also being baptized on the 22nd of July. He is absolutely GREAT and we love him. WE taught him Word of Wisdom, and he gave up alcohol right away. We followed up on Wed, and he told us that although his friends were offering it to him, he declined every time. HES GREAT!!
We then went to the grocery store across the street from our house that night because I really wanted some cereal. So we got in line, I had my jumbo box of cereal, and my liter of milk, and the guy in front of me asked how many kids I had. I kind of just looked at him like, "what?" and he looks down at my cereal box, and I realized what he meant. I then had to admit to him that the cereal was for me, and he kind of was like, "Oh, uh. Yeah, okay..." and turned around. HAHAHAH
Thursday was a happy birthday to my first trainer, Sis Estrella. And it finally rained after what- 5 days. It was wonderful. Floods everywhere. ;) We were very happy. We ate dinner at a members house and we had Lechon- it's roasted pig. Most of the time, its a full pig, but today we had the head lang. So we sat down to eat dinner around a giant, crispy pig head. Not something you do.. ever.. in America. ;)
Our lechon
Friday was another day where I don't remember much... Weekly planning. Sis Yanzon lost her umbrella which means that if she cant find it, it will be her fourth umbrella in 6 months.. I'm still on my first... Thank you Eddie Bauer. 😍
Our solution for rainy days- plastic bags over our actual bags. last time my BOM got soaked. ;)
Saturday was our fav day. Sis Yanzon got hit by a motorcycle... softly, it was kind of just like a hug. Kinda sweet. ;) It didn't stop for her. jhahah
We also taught Christine Mae, another investigator being baptized on the 22nd. :) She's great, too. 15 years old.
All in all, its been a great week... and I will FINALLY SEND YOU PICTURES after how many promises?

Please pray for all of our investigators being baptized, and please pray for us because we don't know what we will do when they're baptized. HAHAH!! I love you guys thanks for the emails!! :)
