D&C 122:7 says: "And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good."
Just thought I'd share this scripture I read just the other day because it really made me stop and think:
Through all of our trials and our sorrows, we have to remember that God will never leave us to fail. Never. He has promised to us that we will never be given a trial too heavy for us to carry. And with that, He has also promised that through our faithfulness in carrying these trials, we will be strong, and we will mount up with wings as eagles. (Isaiah 40:31)
That's an important thing to remember any time we are tempted to give up. 💛
(Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.)
